Dear pretty ladies,
To all the girls out there who just don’t know.. that’s okay!
To all the ones who don’t know if you’re ready for love, who don’t know if you are with the right person, to the ones who don’t even know where you’re supposed to be or what you’re supposed to be doing, I’m here to tell you that it is perfectly fine to feel completely lost. Sometimes we have to lose ourselves to find who we’re truly supposed to be. I’m here to tell you it’s okay to let that past go.
The Bible tells us in Psalms 40:1-3,”I’ve waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, set my feet upon a rock and established my goings. He put a new song in my mouth.”
From this verse alone we can see God’s mercy and how much he loves us. No matter the mistakes you’ve made and the paths you have taken in the past, He welcomes us back with open arms every time. If we put our trust in Him and know His plans are much more than we could ever imagine, everything will turn out exactly how it’s supposed to be.
I don’t know about y’all, but I have always and still have a hard time accepting that. I’m the type of person that if I want or need something I go after it and have absolutely no patience. Unfortunately, this has gotten me in trouble many times before. Sometimes instead of getting what we want, when we want it, God tells us to wait.
Isaiah 40:31 tells us,”But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.” From this verse we can see God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t feel like it in our season of waiting. He is never late, He is never early, but He is always on time because His timing is always perfect.
I heard a saying once that says “He only gives us one piece of the puzzle at a time.” We may not understand that single piece or what it means until we can see the bigger picture and the whole truth.
So to tie it all together, no matter the mistakes, habits, or paths we take, He ALWAYS welcomes us back with open arms. Our job to realize we have strayed and come back to those sweet, open, and loving arms.
Saying all of this, I am speaking from personal experience. I made the personal decision to leave those mistakes and habits at his feet and let Him bare the burden for me. He sent his one and only son to this place filled with sinners, just so we could all have the chance to live in a perfect place with Him for eternity. Now if that isn’t love then I don’t know what is.
Before finding a relationship with a man, find one in Him then He will send you the man He has picked out for you. He is the one and only perfect man who will never let one of his daughters down. Find the peace and love you need in Him before anyone else. After all, He thought you were valuable enough to die for.
